Adult buffet prices (13+)
Guests 13 and older pay the standard adult rate. Here's the typical 2026 range for each daypart.
| Meal | Days & hours | Price range |
|---|---|---|
| Breakfast | Sat–Sun, 9am–12pm | $12.99–$13.99 |
| Lunch | Mon–Fri, 11am–4pm | $11.49–$12.99 |
| Dinner (weekday) | Mon–Fri, 4pm–close | $16.99–$17.99 |
| Dinner (weekend) | Sat–Sun, 12pm–close | $16.99–$19.99 |
On weekends, many locations switch to dinner (all-day) pricing at noon — so a Saturday 1pm visit is usually billed at the dinner rate, not lunch.
Senior buffet prices (60+)
Most locations shave $1–$2 off the adult price for seniors, and many run weekday early-bird specials — sometimes with a drink included. Full details on our senior discount page.
| Meal | Days & hours | Price range |
|---|---|---|
| Breakfast | Sat–Sun, 9am–12pm | $11.99–$13.99 |
| Lunch | Mon–Fri, 11am–4pm | $10.99–$14.99 |

Children's buffet prices
Kids are priced by age, and little ones eat free. A common policy is up to two free children (ages 3 and under) per paying adult — confirm the limit locally.
| Age | Breakfast / Lunch | Dinner |
|---|---|---|
| 0–3 years Free | Free with paying adult | Free |
| 4–8 years | $8.99–$9.99 | $10.49–$12.99 |
| 9–12 years | $9.99–$11.99 | $11.49–$12.99 |
| 13+ years | Adult rate | Adult rate |
Free-kid policy is commonly limited to two children ages 3 and under per paying adult. Kids' pricing sometimes rises a little per year of age at some locations — the ranges above cover the typical spread.
Drinks, steak add-ons & to-go
A few line items that aren't part of the base buffet number but come up on almost every visit.
| Item | Notes | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Fountain drink (16oz) | Unlimited refills | $3.49 |
| Fountain drink (32oz) | Unlimited refills | $3.99 |
| Steak add-on (breakfast/lunch) | Per 4oz sirloin | +$3.99 |
| Steak at dinner | Included with buffet | Included |
| Weigh & Pay to-go | Any daypart, by the pound | $6.99–$8.99/lb |
Drinks are usually charged separately, though some senior early-bird specials include a beverage. Prefer paying by the pound? See how the Weigh & Pay to-go option works.
What's included in the buffet
Your buffet price is all-you-can-eat access to every station — hot bar, salad bar, dessert bar and the famous chocolate fountain.
Hot Bar
Fried chicken, carved meats, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, rotating entrées and more.
Salad Bar
Fresh greens, toppings, dressings and signature prepared salads.
Dessert Bar
Cakes, pies, cookies, soft-serve and rotating seasonal treats.
Chocolate Fountain
The signature flowing fountain — dip strawberries, marshmallows and more.
Ways the price changes
Two guests can pay different amounts for the "same" buffet. Here's what moves the number.
State & city
Because most locations are franchised, pricing tracks the local cost of doing business. Big-city and coastal restaurants sit at the top of the ranges; smaller markets sit at the bottom.
Day & time
Weekday lunch is the cheapest window. On weekends many restaurants apply dinner (all-day) pricing from around noon, so the same plate costs more on Saturday than on a Tuesday.
Holidays
On Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Mother's Day, many locations run a special holiday buffet at a premium fixed price. See our holiday buffet guide.
Money-saving tips
- ✓Go at lunch, not dinner. The weekday lunch buffet is often $5+ cheaper per adult than dinner for a very similar spread — and you can arrive near the end of lunch to roll into the dinner menu.
- ✓Bring the kids on the right day. With two free children (3 and under) per adult and reduced kids' pricing, a family visit is one of the better values in casual dining.
- ✓Ask about the senior early-bird. If you're 60+, weekday afternoon specials can knock a dollar or two off and sometimes include a drink.
- ✓Check for a coupon first. Look at our discounts & coupons page and the Golden Corral app before you go.
- ✓Skip the drink if you're watching the total. Beverages add ~$3.49 per person; water is free and the buffet price stands on its own.
- ✓Only want one plate? Use Weigh & Pay. The to-go, pay-by-the-pound option can beat the full buffet price for a light eater.
